The Weare Democrats will caucus Wednesday March 8, 2023, at 7:00pm via Zoom (in lieu of the regular monthly meeting) to elect town Democratic officers and delegates to the New Hampshire Democratic Party state convention. Local Democratic Committee officers and delegates have a vote at annual state Democratic Party conventions, to approve the party platform, resolutions, and other party business. Contact WeareDemCom@comcast.net to obtain information about the call, including the Zoom link.

“New Hampshire Democrats are already excited about working to elect responsible leaders for our New Hampshire and Weare. Our caucus provides a great opportunity for anyone who wants to be part of New Hampshire’s unique grassroots-style politics,” said Derek Winsor, the Weare Democratic chair.

There is no cost to attend the virtual caucus, and it is open to all members of the public. Any registered Democrat, regardless of past political experience, can run for an officer or delegate position.

“Weare residents are eager to elect representatives who will work to create good jobs, support education, and expand opportunities for middle class families, while restoring civility to politics” continued Winsor. “The fight to elect those representatives – strong Democrats up and down the ticket – begins with the March 8th caucus.”
